Johannesburg Skydiving Club (JSC) on behalf of the Parachute Association of South Africa (PASA) will be hosting the 2009 SA Canopy Piloting National Championship.

JSC is one of the biggest and most professional skydiving clubs in South Africa. The club has been running for 14 years and is situated at its own airfield in Carletonville, 120km from downtown Pretoria and 100km from downtown Johannesburg.

Our swoop pond meets all IPC competition requirements for Canopy Piloting and we have hosted successful competitions over our pond since its inception. The pond is centred in the middle of its own landing area which is located behind the club. This allows for excellent spectator value and a number of safe alternative landing zones.
